HSD is required in any industry especially for DG sets (Generators). The quantity of diesel to be stored will be decided by the requirement of power, the frequency of power failure and the space available. A special ramp is needed to empty the tanker in underground tank, and rotary gear pumps are used to pump the fuel into the DG set tank.

LPG or HSD needs to be monitored in terms of flow rate very carefully for which special flow meters are used. GAS YARD / HSD YARD needs special fire fighting arrangements also as compared to rest of the factory.
